That takes a whole lotta energy, that’ll now be refocused on healing and restoring. Doesn’t that sound smart?

Ease in, don’t overdo it, and stay calm!
Before
It’s good to ease into a cleanse by eliminating foods that are hard to digest, like: processed and fried foods, animal proteins, gluten, dairy, coffee, alcohol, and sugar. So for a few days before you begin your cleanse, load up on fresh, whole foods like: veggies, fruit, simple grains + legumes. Oh... and up your aqua intake, which is essential to flush your system and ease elimination. Bonus... it’ll help you get your glow on! Our best recommendation: Drink herbal tea or warm water with lemon upon rising, or try one of our detox waters. Ditch the soda + caffeine and gulp at least two litres of water (filtered, is best) per day.
During
Yay! You’re off to great places, you’re off and away! Besides taking in the delicious benefits of cold-pressed juicing, you’re saving tons of time usually spent shopping, chopping + chewing! Time to put your feet up, take an epsom salt soak in the tub + REST! Be sure to keep your water intake high and get lots of sleep! Feeling irritable? Uncomfortable? Stay Calm! Be patient with your body as it adjusts to the elimination process.
After
Exit your cleanse in the same way you eased into it, keeping processed and refined foods, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, and meat out of your diet for at least a few days, making whole fruits + veggies a priority. We suggest simple meals like soup, smoothies and steamed vegetables. We’ve got epic grab-and-go options in-store for you, too. Use this time as an opportunity to get rid of old habits, clean out your fridge + cupboards and start fresh. It can be helpful to re-introduce one food at a time to help discover any food sensitivities you may have.

The digestive system will be granted a much needed break from daily operations of processing toxins, solid foods, and other components of your diet that take a lot of energy to break down or flush out. This will allow the body the opportunity to focus its energy on healing and restoring.

Cleansing may not be ideal for everyone. We do not recommend cleansing if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under the age of 18. If you have a medical condition, are on prescription medication, or have any doubts about whether cleansing would be safe for you, we strongly recommend that you speak with your doctor first.

Unfortunately we don't believe quick fixes exist in the nutrition world. Consistent day-to-day habits are what create long term results. We recommend viewing a cleanse as an opportunity to kick-start healthy habits that will result in long-term benefits. Cleansing allows us to take a look at what we are putting into our bodies and how it makes us feel, which can help us identify food sensitivities and conquer cravings.

It is important to ease your body into a cleanse for 2-5 days leading up to the cleanse. We recommend using these days as time to prepare your body for what's to come by phasing out foods that are difficult to assimilate and digest such as: processed foods, refined sugar, refined flour, dairy, alcohol and meat. We also recommend reducing or eliminating your caffeine intake. The more work you do in preparation for the cleanse, the easier you will find the cleanse to be, and the more transformative and long lasting the results will be. We will send out our "Love, Limit + Leave" guide for you to follow 1 day after order confirmation.

We know that any amount of time without solid food can be daunting. That's why we strive to make this process as easy, enjoyable and rewarding as possible for you. We designed our cleanses to flood your body with essential nutrients in a delicious and convenient way. If you are hungry or feel the need to eat during your cleanse, there are no rules against it! We provide a set of guidelines, but encourage you to listen to your body and its own unique needs. If you do decide to eat something during your cleanse, we recommend steamed vegetables, broth or vegetable soup, or green smoothies. Remember: do what's right for YOU.

We do recommend drinking the juices in the order provided (the lids will be labelled 1-6), however, if you have a need for Almond Mylk early in the morning, we recommend you listen to what your body is asking you for. You know your body better than any book, nutritionist, business, etc. We love providing a set of guidelines for you to follow, but this is not meant to be a strict regime.

We don't recommend it. During a cleanse, we are giving our systems a break from these acidic liquids. If a few days without coffee feels scary, try switching to green tea or matcha for a few days leading up to the cleanse to ease your way in. If it's the ritual or routine of drinking something warm in the morning that you enjoy, try drinking a herbal tea in place of your morning coffee.

Yes. It is important to keep the body moving while you are cleansing, but take it easy! Pilates, yoga, walking, and/or swimming are great options.

We recommend easing out of your cleanse the same way you eased into it. Try to stay away from processed foods, dairy, meat, refined flour and sugar, alcohol and caffeine for at least the first few days following your cleanse. Prioritize fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and legumes. Your first few meals should be small and easy to digest - i.e. smoothies, vegetable soup, steamed vegetables with quinoa or rice. Eat slowly and mindfully. Drink a lot of water, and if possible 1-3 juices per day for a couple of days following your cleanse.

We deliver 1-3 Day cleanses in one delivery. Due to the short shelf life of our product, our 5-7 Day cleanses require 2 delivery dates to ensure the freshest juice & highest nutrient value possible throughout your cleanse experience. Our 10 Day cleanse requires 3 delivery dates.
