Ease in, don’t overdo it, and stay calm!

Before
It’s good to ease into a cleanse by eliminating foods that are hard to digest, like: processed and fried foods, animal proteins, gluten, dairy, coffee, alcohol, and sugar. So for a few days before you begin your cleanse, load up on fresh, whole foods like: veggies, fruit, simple grains + legumes. Oh... and up your aqua intake, which is essential to flush your system and ease elimination. Bonus... it’ll help you get your glow on! Our best recommendation: Drink herbal tea or warm water with lemon upon rising, or try one of our detox waters. Ditch the soda + caffeine and gulp at least two litres of water (filtered, is best) per day.
During
Yay! You’re off to great places, you’re off and away! Besides taking in the delicious benefits of cold-pressed juicing, you’re saving tons of time usually spent shopping, chopping + chewing! Time to put your feet up, take an epsom salt soak in the tub + REST! Be sure to keep your water intake high and get lots of sleep! Feeling irritable? Uncomfortable? Stay Calm! Be patient with your body as it adjusts to the elimination process.


After
Exit your cleanse in the same way you eased into it, keeping processed and refined foods, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, and meat out of your diet for at least a few days, making whole fruits + veggies a priority. We suggest simple meals like soup, smoothies and steamed vegetables. We’ve got epic grab-and-go options in-store for you, too. Use this time as an opportunity to get rid of old habits, clean out your fridge + cupboards and start fresh. It can be helpful to re-introduce one food at a time to help discover any food sensitivities you may have.
